While packing your clothes it is important that we as a group observe local dress customs although you will see many people in the city not dressed this way. No short shorts, short skirts, spaghetti strapped tank tops, or revealing clothes. Swimming suits should be one piece.
It is disrespectful to wear shorts in Tanzania, except for the time at the beach. While out at the village you can wear long shorts that cover your knees, capri’s, or a skirt that covers your knees.
The village is all dirt so it is best not to wear your very favorite outfit. Wear something you can get down on the ground and play.
In town and at church you will need to wear a skirt that covers your knees. On safari, you can wear what you want, but dress modestly.
